- Provides planning, management and advice regarding human resources related activities for the School regarding staff, students, Post-doctoral Research Fellows, and Research Associates (e.g. Recruitment, employee relations, performance evaluations etc.)
- Manages recruitment for the School: including the creation of job descriptions, reclassification’s, job postings, interviewing, selection
- Oversees appointments and extensions for staff, student employees, post-doctoral fellows
- Provides advice with regards to employee relations (i.e. discipline in the workplace)
- Chairs staff meetings and co-chairs the SPPH Safety Committee
