Dr. Sabrina Wong appointed as Interim Director of CHSPR

We are pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Sabrina Wong as Interim Director, Centre for Health Services and Policy Research (CHSPR) in the School of Population and Public Health, effective January 1, 2015. This follows the departure of Dr. Steve Morgan who stepped aside from his term as Director last month.

Dr. Wong is a Professor in the UBC School of Nursing and a faculty member of CHSPR. She also holds affiliate appointments in the School of Public and Population Health and the Department of Family Medicine. Her current research focuses on primary health care, specifically how structures and processes can enhance the delivery and organization of health services. As Interim Director, Dr. Wong will support the research priorities of CHSPR, in an effort to fulfill the Faculty’s commitment to Research Innovation & Excellence. We are grateful for her willingness to provide leadership in the interim period, and thank faculty and staff in the Centre for their support during this transition.
